Thought it was strange , but then figured it was a Sunday, maybe they live in Panajachel, made a day trip to Antigua, and were going home for the night in our private car ride, fine. But no, he made a detour to his wife’s hometown half way there, to drop them off. This detour took us through the southern route, hairpin curve after hairpin curve with no street lights.
