Coming from Guatemala City, it was in fact a 6-7 hour drive and I think the wiser decision would be to stay the night in Semuc Champey because that totaled almost 14 hours of driving to only explore the waterfalls for 3 hours…very long day. However, I had some issues with my driver/guide…he was great on the way to Semuc, making sure I was comfortable and had water/food when needed. But when we got to Semuc, he tried to send me into a different…”
